  • bvSys germany

    bvSys Logo

bvSys is a world leader in automatic rail inspection systems for precise error detection at a high working speed. They allow periodic and economical track inspection with minimum disruptions to the regular rail traffic. Damage can therefore be detected at an early stage so that in several cases the service life of the rails can be greatly prolonged through preventive measures.

The systems can be mounted individually or in combination on any carrier vehicle. The data from all of the connected test systems are stored digitally in the Central Data Acquisition Unit (CDA unit). During recording, and at the end of the trip, the results of the inspections can be evaluated and documented either together or separately according to the systems.

The systems can be assigned to the sections of Track Inspection and Overhead Line Inspection.

  • McLaren UK

    bvSys Logo

McLaren Applied, UK leverages Formula 1 technology to enhance public transport. Their Active Antenna, a ground-breaking 5G edge computing rail antenna, simplifies and economizes the implementation of 5G in trains. It eliminates the need for costly RF cables and routers, offering up to 33% savings in capital expenses. This antenna integrates radio and computing capabilities, vastly improving upload and download speeds compared to traditional passive antennas. Additionally, McLaren Applied's advanced handover technology ensures superior signal stability and performance, setting a new standard in 5G-enabled transport applications.

With the rise of commercial 5G in rail, there's an increasing demand for real-time monitoring of vehicle metrics and infrastructure elements such as overhead lines, vegetation, and security. McLaren Applied's Active Antenna facilitates the deployment of digital applications in public transport, like Fleet Connect, by eliminating the need for additional hardware in trains. This results in cost, space, and weight savings for operators. The edge platform efficiently manages multiple complex systems, allowing operators to focus on passenger experience.
Fleet Connect offers seven key benefits for transport operators:

    - Sustained Connectivity: Superior handover technology for consistent signal aggregation, reducing connectivity loss.
    - Hardware Agnostic: Compatible with any router or rail computer, irrespective of the manufacturer.
    - Cost Savings: Optimized data usage management leads to financial benefits.
    - Increased Passenger Satisfaction: Enhances customer experience, crucial in the post-Covid era of reduced ridership.
    - More Connected Operation: Improves performance in areas like CCTV, infotainment, and EPOS systems.
    - Full-Service Support and Flexibility: Dedicated support teams ensure adherence to even the most stringent Service Level Agreements.
    - Innovation: Customers contribute to a constantly evolving five-year innovation roadmap.

  • Whitmore USA

    Whitmore Logo

Whitmore Solid Stick Lubricants are specifically designed to provide optimum lubrication in industrial and rail applications. Whitmore Solid Stick Lubricants help reduce noise levels and wear. During normal rolling, Whitmore Solid Stick Lubricants transfer from the trunnion roller to kiln tire or wheel flange to gauge face/corner and lubricates both surfaces. It reduces the coefficient of friction to as low as 0.20 in industrial applications and 0.10 in rail applications. The result is a substantial reduction in wear and longer equipment life. In rail applications, Whitmore Solid Stick Lubricants can be utilized alone or on a dual bracket with Whitmore Solid Stick Friction Modifiers. The products are typically applied using spring-loaded applicators that prevent cross-contamination. Whitmore Solid Stick Lubricants and Whitmore Solid Stick Friction Modifiers perform very dissimilar functions; therefore, each has a unique size/shape with corresponding applicators to eliminate improper application.
